For over 30 years, I have dedicated myself to breeding Nelore and Angus cattle, but discovering the Texas Longhorn breed was a game-changer. I was captivated by the strength of the bulls, the elegance of the cows, and their exceptional maternal instincts. These remarkable cattle produce abundant milk, boast stunning horns, and display an array of exotic coat colors.
My journey led me to Texas, where I visited top breeders and saw firsthand what makes this breed so special. I was amazed by 600-kilo cows thriving on minimal pasture, effortlessly raising strong, resilient calves. This experience inspired my vision: by 2026, I aim to establish a herd of 100 Longhorn cows here in Londrina, Paraná, Brazil. I am carefully selecting top specimens from Texas to introduce this breed to Brazil, confident that crossbreeding them with Angus will enhance adaptability and heat resistance, making them ideal for the northern regions of the country.
